There are many different hair masks in drugstores. Some look better and others look worse. Sometimes you can also change your prices. We can make many hair masks ourselves at home. They are inexpensive, work well and most products can be found in our own kitchen. Natural masks solve the problem of frizz, glare or dryness.
Moisture
Coconut milk mask
We need:
- 20 ml coconut milk
- 20 g coconut oil
- 5 ml argan oil
- 5 ml jojoba oil
The first step in the production of a mask is to combine the oils. Then add coconut milk and mix everything thoroughly. Apply the mask for about 10 minutes, then rinse and wash your hair thoroughly with shampoo.
Honey mask
We need:
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
The ingredients should be mixed and applied to dry hair. We achieve the best effect when we wrap the head with a towel. The mask should remain on the hair for 15 minutes. Then we rinse and wash our heads.
Avocado Mask
- 1 tablespoon of avocado crushed with a fork
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon honey
The ingredients are thoroughly mixed and applied to the hair. The mask expires, so it’s a good idea to wrap your hair in a towel or put a shower cap on it. Keep the mixture on your hair for 20 minutes, then wash it carefully, because the avocado likes to get caught in the hair,
Regeneration
Mask with egg and aloe
We need:
- 1 egg
- A few drops of sage oil
- A few drops of rose oil
- 1 tablespoon of jojoba oil
- 1 tablespoon aloe vera oil
- 1 tablespoon ho
Mix jojoba oil with honey and heat. Then add aloe vera gel, egg, sage and rose oil. The mask should be applied to damp hair and kept for about 3 hours. The next step is to rinse the mask and shampoo the hair.
Beer mask
We need:
- 1 egg yolk
- 5 tablespoons traditional beer
It is one of the less time-consuming masks. The ingredients should be mixed, applied to the hair for 15 minutes and washed thoroughly.
Fruit mask
We need:
- 1 banana or 1 mango
- 1 tablespoon cereal
- 1 small natural yoghurt
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
Peel the banana or mango and mix with the muesli. Add the remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly. Then we put the mask on the hair and hold it for about 30 minutes. Then rinse the mask and wash the hair.
Yolk Mask
We need:
- 1 egg yolk
- A few drops of lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
All ingredients should be combined and applied to the hair. The mask on the hair should be kept for at least 1 hour. However, if you keep it longer, the hair will not be damaged. Then wash your hair thoroughly with shampoo.
Apple mask
We need:
- 1l water
- 100 ml apple juice
- 100 ml apple cider vinegar
- 10 g castor oil
All ingredients must be mixed. Apply the mask to clean, damp hair. The mask should remain on the hair for 15-20 minutes. Then rinse and wash your hair again.
Masks for frizzy hair
Chamomile mask
We need:
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil. Rapeseed or sunflower oil is a good choice
- 1 teaspoon chamomile
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
The oil must be warmed up. Then combine with chamomile and let rest for 30 minutes. The next step is to drain the liquid thoroughly and add the egg yolk, honey and lemon juice. Apply the mask to damp hair for 30 minutes. Then rinse and wash your hair.
Egg mask
We need:
- Two eggs if we have shorter hair. If our hair is long, 4-5 eggs are needed
- Olive oil
Beat the eggs and add the olive oil. We put the mixture on the hair. We hold her by her hair for about half an hour. Then we wash our hair and rinse it with cold water.
Against hair loss
Castor Oil Mask
We need:
- 1 tablespoon castor oil
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
All ingredients should be mixed and heated. Then place it on your hair and put on a shower cap or towel. The mask should stay on the hair for at least an hour, but the best effect is achieved if you hold it all night. Then the mask should be rinsed and the hair washed. It is a good idea to use lemon juice or apple cider vinegar to rinse off this mask.
Onion mask
We need:
- A white onion
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or burdock juice
Peel and grate the onion, then squeeze out the juice. Add olive oil or burdock juice to the onion juice. Mix the ingredients and rub into the scalp. After rubbing your head, put on a swim cap and wrap your head with a towel. Keep the mask on your hair for 1 hour when your hair is dry. If our hair is greasy, the mask can be stored for 2 hours. The last step is to wash your hair thoroughly with a natural shampoo.
As you can see, there are many recipes for homemade hair masks with different effects. Of course, not everyone can give us an electrifying effect, because every scalp likes different ingredients. However, it is worth experimenting, because at least some of them are good for our hair.
