We will do our skin a great favor if we rub it off once in a while. We can do it on the face, body and scalp. Drugstores offer many scrubs, but we can also produce good scrubs at home with products from our kitchen.

Effect

Thanks to the exfoliation, we remove dead epidermal cells and stimulate the skin to produce new cells. The replacement of the epidermis takes about 28 days. This process becomes longer with age. The abrasion will definitely speed it up. The exfoliation makes our skin more elastic, better supplied with blood and radiant. The scrubs also prevent the occurrence of inflammation and make other cosmetics from our care more effective.

How to use an exfoliator?

The frequency of use of facial scrubs depends on the skin type. In the case of oily skin, the peeling can be applied twice a week, in the case of normal skin once a week and in the case of sensitive or copper-containing skin every two weeks. It is best to use an exfoliation for the body and scalp once a week. It should be noted that the exfoliation must not be carried out immediately after depilation and in places where our skin is irritated. Too frequent exfoliation can irritate the protective layer of our skin.

Wash the scrub with gel before applying it to the face. The next step is to apply the scrub and massage your face with circular movements for about 2 minutes. Then rinse everything off.

Apply the body scrub to damp skin after bathing. We start with the feet and massage upwards with circular movements. The massage should take about 10 minutes. Then the peeling should be rinsed off.

The scalp scrub should be applied after washing the hair. We work here as if on the face – we massage the scalp for about 2 minutes with circular movements. Then rinse the scrub and wash the scalp again.
